Marion, Franco and Paolo,
Well a couple of weeks have gone past since
the wedding and the happy couple are away on honeymoon and soaking up the sun,
and it is time to reflect on the events of the past couple of weeks such
as could anything have been improved on etc etc - definately not it was
perfect!
It was fabulous wasnt it - given the minor problems of the ash
cloud followed by the mini tornedo it is amazing the wedding was able to go
ahead at all but it did and it was just perfect. Everyone who went to Villa
Giona has said that the wedding was the best they have ever been to and that it
was a very special and intimate experience that we all shared. A 'little bit of
rain' on the day didnt spoil it one bit and in fact added to the
occasion.
Nigel and I would like to thank you all and your staff making
Kathryn and Carl's wedding so wonderful. Everyone was professional on the day
and the DJ was a success with everyone - he reflected the mood of the day
perfectly and we loved 'singing in the rain' while everyone dashed for cover.
Also the choice of music with the fireworks enhanced the whole display - I am so
pleased I did go ahead with them, they were splendid and complete a very
emotional and joyful memory of the day. I also timed telling Nigel to perfection
- while he was watching them!!!

enjoy the beauty of Villa Giona and helping to make Kathryn and Carls day so

Following on from Roz and Nigel’s e-mail, we would also like to echo their comments and genuinely thank you all for providing such an amazing experience. Quite often the Groom is happy to go along with the Brides wishes and not too fussed on the minor(!) details like the venue, however you may have gathered now that Carl likes to give a performance at every opportunity and likes to impress when he finds something out of the ordinary. From his first visit to Villa Giona last March (2010 ) Carl was certain they had found an extraordinary place and perfect for his marriage to the beautiful Kathryn. Giuseppe was marvellous and made it such an intimate but friendly service, we have some great footage of him and Carl having a chat before the ceremony like they had know each other for years. Like Roz we thought the DJ to be excellent and liked the way he helped out moving the furniture when the rain started before beginning his “proper” role. The firework display was indeed an emotional and spectacular event, also the cutting of the cake and so many fantastic memories, too many to mention. Most guests had looked at your website prior to the wedding and all said it still exceeded expectations. Our only disappointed was that the three days went so quickly, it would have been lovely to have spent a few more days enjoying the Villa and Verona, but we have to return to the real world sometime! For both families this is the first wedding and with 3 more children between us, you never know we may be booking a repeat performance in the future!

Just a little note to say thank you so much for all that you did to make our wedding day so special and a day that we will never forget.
We are guests at a wedding in Lake Garda next June so hopefully we will visit you soon.
